John and Cynthia have nine children ranging in age from 1 – 23. Over the years, home schooling has allowed for many opportunities for the children to be a vital part of their ministry as John travels for visitation trips into the isolated regions of B.C.
Beginning in April through the middle of July the Nobles participate in as many annual rodeo parades as possible, giving away Christian literature and tracts to the crowds lining the street.
The Noble family members give out tracts during rodeo parades. They set up a large marquis tent on the rodeo grounds, providing a place of prayer or somewhere for people to go to just talk or get out of the sun for a few moments.
Relationships, both in the natural and ultimately for the kingdom are begun over the course of the rodeo events and when John ministers in the marquis to the crowds during Sunday’s Cowboy Church there are often people there with whom those relationships have begun.
During the summer, the whole family works together in ministry as they conduct summer Vacation Bible Schools and assist with ministry at a remote Bible camp.
Follow up and other visitation ministry is done throughout the rest of the year, sharing the Lord wherever possible to those who are geographically out of the way, lonely, or rejected. They distribute Christian literature to the reserves, local stores and gas stations in communities that are often difficult to reach for most people, extending a compassionate listening ear wherever they go.
John doesn’t allow location to prevent him from visiting those people living in isolated communities. Like so many of our Independent Missionary Associates, for John… any challenge presented gives way to ingenuity.
John pilots a Super Cub that has floats, allowing him to land on lakes in summer, skis for frozen lakes or ranchers’ fields in winter, and wheels wherever it is practical and safe to use them.
