In July we are offering summer camps for children (age 8-12) at SCA Eagle’s Cove which include outdoor adventure, rock climbing, sports, paintballing, swimming, canoeing, archery, crafts, good food, chapel times and lasting friendships.
On July 7th-12th and on July 14th-19th, 2008, we ran our first two weeks of summer camps with almost 50 campers!
“Play days” are done in the city of Thunder Bay in low-income housing areas. Carnival games and food are brought into the community for a free week long event. Relationships with kids and their parents are built and maintained through the ongoing connection over the summer.

Our vision is to establish 4-5 kids clubs (age 6-12) in specific areas of Thunder Bay. We want to provide a safe place of fun activities, encouragement, finding hope and learning about God.
On January 19th 2008 we started the first SCA Eagle’s Cove Kids Club in Limbrick (@ Vale Community Centre)

Each year before Christmas we want to distribute gift bags among the families living in specific areas of Thunder Bay. The objective is to bring joy, to show God’s love, to relate to the people and to let them know about SCA Eagle’s Cove Ministry Centre.
On December 15th, 2007, the first gift bag distribution event took place. We went to Limbrick and the Fort William community.
